After doing our preliminary, we realised that it was important to plan each shot before filming it.
When we filmed our preliminary, not much planning went into it, only a simple story board which we didn’t stick to completely. This meant that our shots ended up looking very random and didn’t fit the overall look that we was trying to present. Furthermore, we hadn’t planned the music that we put over the film and decided on it last minute whilst editing. This has led to the music being completely irrelevant to the visual and contrasting it in a negative way. Moreover, we had not planned the location of our filming and chose that last minute, meaning that everything in the background was irrelevant to the message of our film and this made it look less professional. As well as this, we had many interruptions which affected our filming as we had to stop and start due to outside distractions and noise.
